Revision Flow Planner
This policy explains how this application handles information and how to contact us about privacy.
Information we process
Revision Flow Planner stores the name and work schedule you enter on your device. It stores your project names, dates, stage estimates and actual hours, completion status, revision buffers, and feedback notes on your device. When synchronization is available, it also sends project, stage, and feedback records to its server. The server assigns an installation identifier and stores a hash of a random installation secret; the secret itself is kept in the device Keychain. The hosting provider receives network requests and may process technical connection information such as IP addresses and request times in infrastructure logs. The app does not require an account, email address, or location data.
How we use information
The app uses your local records to show project timelines, simulate feedback delays, calculate daily workload, and retain your archive. The server stores installation-scoped copies of project, stage, and feedback records so the app can synchronize changes when a network connection returns. The local name and workday settings support your personal planning and capacity calculations and are not sent to the server. Technical request data is processed to operate and protect the hosting service.
Service providers and sharing
The backend and database run on Railway, which processes hosted records and infrastructure traffic on our behalf. We do not add advertising, analytics, email delivery, or social sign-in providers. We do not sell personal information. Network routing and Railway infrastructure may process technical request information needed to deliver the service.
Data retention
Local records remain on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app. Server records remain associated with the installation until you use Delete all data or the service is discontinued. The server does not define an automatic record expiration period. Railway may maintain operational logs and backups under its own infrastructure practices; we cannot promise a specific log or backup deletion interval. If you lose the Keychain secret, the server copy cannot be recovered through an account.
Deleting your information
Settings offers Delete all data with a confirmation. When connected, the app asks the server to delete the installation and its related project, stage, and feedback rows, then clears the local records and Keychain secret. If the server request fails, the app keeps local records and shows an error so you can retry rather than falsely claiming complete deletion. Removing the app deletes its local app storage, while a server copy may remain if you did not first use Delete all data. For a request concerning an inaccessible server copy, contact the address below; we may need enough technical details to locate it, and cannot guarantee identification without the installation secret.
Permissions and your choices
The app uses network access to synchronize with the server. If you enable deadline reminders in Settings, it requests iOS notification permission and schedules local reminders for upcoming project deadlines and expected feedback dates; reminder content is generated on your device. You can withdraw notification permission in iOS Settings or turn reminders off in the app. The app does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library access.
Your privacy rights
You can inspect, edit, archive, and delete your planning records in the app. You may request information about your data or its deletion by emailing kitto.trevelyan@icloud.com. Because the app has no account or identity verification, we may not be able to identify a lost installation without its secret. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location.
Security
Private API requests require the random installation secret, which the app stores in the device Keychain. The server stores only a hash of that secret and isolates database records by installation. HTTPS protects requests in transit to the public service. No system can guarantee absolute security; do not place information in project notes that you would not want stored on a hosted server.
Children’s privacy
Revision Flow Planner is designed for adult freelancers and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly seek children's personal information. If you believe a child has used the service and need assistance with deletion, contact kitto.trevelyan@icloud.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features or hosting practices change. The effective date at the top will be revised when a new policy is published. Questions about this policy can be sent to kitto.trevelyan@icloud.com.
